HUNTERS HELPING FEED THE HUNGRY

We are a non-profit group of volunteers based in North Canterbury, helping hunters donate their surplus venison trim, to be processed into mince and given to local charities and Foodbanks.

WHAT WE DO

At Hunters4Hope, we collect surplus venison from hunters, combine it with donated venison received from International Trophy Hunters, process it into Venison Mince and distribute it, at no charge, to several food assistance groups throughout wider Canterbury, through our good friends at Hope Community Trust. Our aim also emphasizes sustainable hunting practices, reducing food insecurity, and fostering stronger, more connected communities.

SUPPORT OUR CAUSE

Every contribution makes a difference. By supporting Hunters4Hope, you’re helping us cover the costs of processing and distributing surplus venison to those who need it most. Whether it’s a financial donation, or spreading the word, your involvement helps us provide hope and nourishment to families across our region. Together, we can make a real impact

OUR LOCATIONS

We’ve partnered with local businesses and organisations to provide convenient drop-off points for hunters, to leave surplus venison trim for us to pick up. Please make drop-offs during business hours only, and identify each bag with name and contact number (tags supplied).
